Indigo Dying
I have a love for textiles which is deeply rooted in my tacit sense. Recently I have re-aproached Shibori Stitching (a Japanese technique) and Indigo dying.
Contemplation Stone
This is an ongoing body of work I call 'Contemplation Stones' intriguing enough I arrived at the name of this series due to what they embody and how I relate to them. ( later discovered the paralleling between naturally found stones in Chinese Art Traditions carrying the same name. )
Printmaking
While traveling and during periods of not having access to a printmaking press, I have continued to carve dozens of reliefs to be printed later. Now I do have the possibility to print again beyond mokuhanga manual prints, I am excited to explore creating editions from the relief woodblocks, linoleum blocks and plates I have gathered.
